IBENA- Report of Developments in Tehran Housing Market in April 1401, which is taken from data of Tenement management information system, was published by Economic Studies and Policies office of Central bank.
In April of this year, average price of one square meter of residential unit traded through real estate agencies in Tehran was 34 million and 270 thousand Tomans, which indicates a decrease of 2.4 percent compared to the previous month. Also, it has increased by 16.9 percent compared to the same month of previous year, which is much less than the point-to-point growth of April 1400 (equivalent to 91.7 percent) and indicates a slowdown in point-to-point growth rate of housing prices in April 1401.
In 22 districts of Tehran Municipality, the highest average price of one square meter of residential unit traded equal to 75 million and 160 thousand Tomans in first district and the lowest with 15 million and 770 thousand Tomans belonged to 18th district. These show an increase of 12.5 percent and 17.3 percent, respectively, compared to the same month of 1400.
A survey of rental housing index in Tehran and all urban areas in April 1401 shows a growth of 45.6 and 50.1 percent, respectively, compared to the same month last year. It is necessary to explain that monthly growth of the index in April in Tehran and all urban areas is same and is equal to 0.8 percent.
