In addition, the President of Brazil, the Prime Minister of India, the President of China and the President of Russia, who attended the meeting in the form of a video conference, emphasised this in their speeches and said that the entry of new members into BRICS will make the bloc more prosperous and more effective in the world order.
The membership of Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Ethiopia and Argentina will be formalised from the beginning of January 2024.
